A booth is not only for display: make it a B2B meeting point

A trade fair booth with many visitors does not always create valuable meetings. For exhibitors looking for buyers, distributors or new partners, what matters is knowing whom to meet and giving them a reason to come. At HCMC EXPORT 2026, exhibitors can prepare their booth as a B2B meeting point rather than just a display.

1. Meetings start before the fair

• Identify target buyers by market, category and sourcing needs.
• Choose focus products for the customers you want to reach.
• Prepare a B2B file: catalogue, certificates, production capacity, MOQ, lead time, OEM/ODM and related information.
• Announce your presence and invite customers, partners and potential contacts to your booth.
• Prepare your team: who handles which visitors and what to discuss.

2. From booth traffic to business meetings

With clear goals, the booth is no longer a place to wait for visitors but a journey: right product → right audience → right discussion → follow-up. Business Matching and the Hosted Buyer Program support focused B2B connections, but preparation by the exhibitor remains key.

3. Prepare the booth for B2B meetings

Plan the booth around connection goals, not only display. Decide in advance which visitors to reach, which products to present and what to discuss in each meeting, so that reception, discussions and follow-up are under control.

4. Ready for HCMC EXPORT 2026

Don’t wait for the opening day to look for meetings: give your booth a connection plan today.
